The GLAIN Standard
A credential that means something specific.
The GLAIN Verified badge is not self-assigned and not purchased. It’s the result of a documented vetting process that every listed consultant passes before their profile goes live — and must re-pass every year.
What we check before listing anyone.
Active certifications or verifiable training in AI tools, platforms, or governance. Demonstrated SMB-scale project experience — not just enterprise logos. References that can speak to real client work.
Transparent disclosure when AI is used in deliverables. No use of client data for model training without written consent. No overpromising on capabilities or outcomes. Human oversight maintained in all AI-assisted processes.
Demonstrated ability to scope and deliver within SMB budgets. Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders. Experience with common SMB tools, not just enterprise stacks. Willingness to start at entry-point scale.
Accurate representation of credentials at all times. Disputes handled through GLAIN’s defined process. No soliciting of other members’ clients. Annual re-attestation to maintain listing status.
Why this matters to SMBs
Small businesses often have one shot at an AI implementation. A bad hire — someone who overpromised, used the wrong tools, or didn’t understand SMB constraints — can set a company back months and erode trust in AI entirely.
GLAIN Verified consultants aren’t just capable — they’re accountable. Every one of them has agreed to our conduct standards and knows their listing depends on maintaining them.
“Not a directory. A network with a standard.”
